For Resort 2012, THE ROW continues to expand its range, paying particular attention to the superior tailoring techniques on which it was founded. Ethereal forms and embroideries evoke the Belle Époque, the cultural golden age of late 19th century Europe. Strong masculine shapes in exquisite cottons are paired with fluid silhouettes of silks and floral embroideries formed of metal filaments. Jackets constructed of cashmere linen in a Prince of Wales check along with crisp white separates reflect a classic sartorial elegance. Playful luxury takes form in a sailor-striped minks, cottons, cashmeres. Coastal colors of blue, mint, lilac, and white conjure the joie de vivre of the French Riviera.

THE ROW sophomore handbag collection debuts four new shapes for Resort 2012. Among them, an update to fall's Day Luxe: The Tall Day Luxe Tote, in rich earthtones of calfskin and alligator. An ultra-luxurious approach is taken to the classic backpack: natural white fox and mink are applied to tonal leather and adorned with an exaggerated foxtail keychain. Additional handbag shapes comprise a rich bouquet of colors: yellow, dark green and brick lizard, teal alligator and terracotta boxcalf among them. The handbag collection embodies the classic aesthetic that is THE ROW trademark.

THE ROW completes its Resort 2012 collection with a collaboration of precious jewelry by Ileana Makri, borne of Ileana and THE ROW's shared idea of minimal timeless design. Much like THE ROW, Ileana focuses on creating classic pieces with a modern approach. She combines the effervescent spirit of the Belle Époque with her own spiritual influences for a product that is at once effortless and significant. Anklets, bracelets, necklaces and rings of rose and white gold, feature evil eye pendants of blue, green, lilac and white diamonds.
